Your unique, one-time-use Rain Check code(s) was sent to you using the email you used to register for your 2020 race. Keep a record of it in a safe place. They are like cash. Once redeemed they cannot be regenerated.
Keep a record of your Rain Check code(s) in a safe place. Each Rain Check code is unique and can be used only once. We do not have the ability to look up Rain Check codes for runners. Once redeemed by registering for a race, a Rain Check code cannot be used again or transferred to a different race.
Each Rain Check code is unique to you and good for one use only. Once you use your Rain Check code you are committed to that race. Your code is good for one of three distance categories, based on your original registration:
You may use your code to register for any of our five 2023 races at the corresponding distance you originally signed up for.
We are operating two registration systems. One for Rain Check registration for all runners who were registered for a Run Stillwater race that was canceled in 2020, and one for regular registration on the Run Stillwater website. This allows us to accommodate the volume of Rain Check registrations resulting from the cancelation of our 2020 season due to the pandemic.
You may use your Rain Check code to register for any race, but only for the corresponding distance in your original registration.
Example A: Jayne registered for the 2020 Stillwater Half Marathon to run the half. She uses her Rain Check code to sign-up for the 10-Mile distance in the 2023 Stillwater Log Run.
Example B: Jim registered for the 2020 St. Croix Crossing to run the half marathon. His registration is rejected when he tries to use the code to register for the 2023 St. Croix Crossing race to run the 10K. Jim then completes his registration by signing up for the half marathon distance and makes a plan to change his distance at packet pickup.
If you’d like to switch distances you may do so at Packet Pickup for that race. There is no charge to move down in distance. You will be charged the difference to move up to a longer race.
That’s great. Your Rain Check code may be used for any of our five races, as long as you sign up for the same distance category. See above for category descriptions under “How do Rain Check codes work?”
Rain Check codes are good through September 2023. Rain Check codes can be used to register for any of our five races in 2023. Unused Rain Check codes expire in September 2023 at the close of online registration for the 2023 Stillwater Log Run.
